Working for yourself can be the BEST… and the same reasons that make it the best can make it the WORST!

Being flexible means you need to ensure that you have really good boundaries in place otherwise you find yourself being ‘on’ all the time.

Being able to work from anywhere means you can actually work from anywhere. I’ve started to leave my laptop at home to ensure that my holiday is in fact a holiday and there’s no temptation to do a sneaky little task.

Being the boss means you have to make ALL of the decisions and sometimes it would be nice to just be told what the next step or task is 😅

But, for me, the pros of running my own business far outweigh the cons.

Here's to Wednesdays that feel like Fridays (hello loooooong weekend) and holiday destinations that instantly feel like home.

I visited @woodcliffemaclear for the first time in 2002 and it's held a special place in my heart since. The vistas, the people, the air - magical. When the owners (and long time friends) approached me to revamp their website I was giddy with excitement. Their old site didn't do the place justice as it just didn't show off the beauty of the farm.

We added A LOT more imagery and made the site way easier to navigate.

I haven't shown up on social media too much this year as I've just kind of had my head down working and trying to live my best life. I have a couple of new followers which is a fun surprise so I thought I'd say hi 👋🏼 and share a few fun facts for new people to get to know me a bit better!

🧘🏻‍♀️ I'm super into yoga right now. I've practiced consistently once a week for 2.5 years and I'm almost able to do a headstand without the support of a wall

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 I'm a Mom to 2 little boys who can drive me nuts but they're really such sweet, fun little guys who I am blessed to hang out with every afternoon. My husband is also pretty rad and we recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary!! Wow, time flies.

🇻🇳 My husband and I lived in Vietnam for 4.5 years. It was pretty tough going a lot of the time but looking back 5 years on, they were some of the best times and I really am so glad that we spent a few years there.

🏃🏻‍♀️ I have a love/hate relationship with running! I enjoy it when I'm fit but getting fit isn't my favourite 😂 I'm so grateful for all of the people that running has brought into my life though.

🫖 Tea is life. 5 Roses tea though! And Freshpack Rooibos.
